28th Annual Stowe Foliage Arts Festival
Shipwreck
Tours Vergennes Now through October 31, 2009 Guided tours of area
shipwrecks will be offered throughout the summer, shedding light on the 400-year
legacy of underwater cultural resources of Lake Champlain. An excursion boat takes
participants to the site of an historic shipwreck. There, the operator deploys
a Remotely Operated Vehicle to explore the details of the site, instantly relaying

Power & Play. This compelling exhibit explores and celebrates the aerodynamics,
force, flight, science, and fun of wind, through innovative interactives featuring

Great Vermont Corn Maze -- Danville Now through October 18, 2009 The Great
Vermont Corn Maze includes a number of attractions. The actual corn maze covers
seven acres with approximately two miles of trails lined with 10-to-12-foot walls
of corn. The maze is also situated on a hill, which allows for fantastic views
and keeps the trail from getting too wet after the rain. Most visitors spend two
to five hours on the property enjoying the different attractions. Location: 1404
Wheelock Road. Time: The maze opens at 10 a.m., with last entry at 3 p.m. Maze
closes at 5 p.m. Cost: Adults, age 16-59, $12; children at 5 to 15, $9; seniors

businesses in Killington display sculpture in a very Vermont medium: Hay. Animals
of every kind take shape in the form of huge round hay bales and stand along town

2009 to October 4, 2009 The Vermont Symphony Orchestra presents a program brimming
with melodic beauty: an arrangement of a Mozart string quartet; Bizets charming
Jeux denfants (Childrens Games); and Haydns marvelous Symphony
No. 82 (The Bear). The VSO celebrates its 16th touring season this
fall, Anthony Princiotti conducting. The Made in Vermont program also
features the premiere of a work by composer Derrik Jordan of Brattleboro. Jordan
pays tribute to the Lake Champlain Quadricentennial with a composition entitled

autumn in Vermont with one of the nation's most renowned blues ensembles Roomful

though Roomful of Blues' lineup has changed over the years, the band has always
been one of the tightest, most joyful blues ensembles in the world. Currently,

Farm Corn Maze Rutland October 1, 2009 to October 31, 2009 This corn
maze is all about astronomy. Come find your way through 12 acres of corn and miles
of paths and solve the Outta This Wrold maze! Early Exits available. There will
be some clues scattered throughout the maze. Also, watch for the opportunity to
search for eight hole punches of different shapes. The grassy meadow is in the
maze again this year, with Adirondack chairs to sit down, relax and enjoy the
mountain views. On Saturday nights during Moonlight Madness, visitors may view
the night sky. Moonlight Madness is every Saturday night. The Mini-Maze is a much
shorter adventure designed for toddlers and young folks to have fun exploring
